بند یکصد و چهل و دوم : تخفیف دادن بعضی از احکام کتاب بیان

انّه قد انزل بعض الاحکام لئلّا يتحرّک القلم الاعلی فی هذا الظّهور الّا علی ذکر مقاماته العليا و منظره الاسنی و انّا لمّا اردنا الفضل فصّلناها بالحقّ و خفّفنا ما اردناه لکم انّه لهو الفضّال الکريم *

Verily, He [The Báb] revealed certain laws so that, in this Dispensation, the Pen of the Most High might have no need to move in aught but the glorification of His own transcendent Station and His most effulgent Beauty. Since, however, We have wished to evidence Our bounty unto you, We have, through the power of truth, set forth these laws with clarity and mitigated what We desire you to observe. He, verily, is the Munificent, the Generous.
او (حضرت اعلی) بعضی از احکام را نازل فرمود، تا آنکه قلم اعلی (من یظهرالله) در این ظهور حرکت نکند به جز برای ذکر مقامات عالی و جایگاه عظیم الشان خودش. اما ما (حضرت بهالله) اراده کردیم از روی فضل و تفصیل دادیم به حق و تخفیف دادیم (از کتاب بیان) آنچه را که خواستیم. خداوند فضال و بخشنده است.
